Some of the events have a limited number of places, you can book a place
via the Spike Island box office or email us.
Some events will provide a few drawing materials but always bring your own along.
After each event we hope to collect the works produced (this however is
not compulsory), so we advise to use loose paper or sketch pads that you
are willing to take the pages from.

DETAILS ~
sing her typewriter, Keira is going to type live visual stories reflecting her travels to various Drawing
Exchange locations. The characters that would usually make up the words and punctuation of a story, are
instead exchanged by Keira for mark-making use.
Keira is almost guaranteed to be typing and available to exchange conversations with anyone who wants to
somewhere in or near the following times & locations:
Fri 1st May - Stokes Croft - 12-2pm
Sat 2nd May - Spike Island - 12-2pm
Sun 3rd May - Clifton Suspension Bridge - 12-2pm
Mon 4th May - Spike Island - 1-3pm
The typing produced over the four days will be on show at the final Exchange Event.
BIO~
At first Keira's drawings resemble ink drawings, but closer inspection reveals the hallmarks of the iconic
machine. Encouraging people to study her work from different view points through this medium is a reference
made by the artist to .taking perspective and noticing the overlooked..
Often typing out and about, Keira.s quirky practice takes on an element of performance - an unexpected,
interesting aspect that the she has encouraged the development of. This act of typing .out of office.
provokes intrigue and comment from all walks of life.
